Effective Saturday, April 12, 2008, Comcast will bring you an exciting new lineup! We will also realign many of the channels for easier viewing. Many of your favorite cable channels will move to new locations, grouped by category – news, sports, kids, education and more!

Digital customers will continue to enjoy over 200 channels with Comcast’s digital network that delivers 100% digital quality picture and sound. And thanks to Channel 1 On Demand, you can cue up great programming for the entire family anytime, featuring thousands of programs each month that you can start, stop, pause and rewind whenever you want. 80% of the programs on Channel 1 On Demand are available for no additional charge.

The changes don’t stop there.  High-Definition television subscribers will enjoy 10 new HD channels:**

The following channels will be moving to new channel locations on Saturday April 12th as part of the comprehensive channel realignment and will now require a digital box to view:
  • AMC • Expanded Service Channel 74* and 138*
  • TCM • Expanded Service Channel 75* and 169*
  • TV Guide Network • Limited Basic Channel 100*
  • Inspiration • Limited Basic Channel 295*
However, contrary to our original customer notification, the following two channels will not require a digital converter to be viewed:
  • History Channel • Expanded Service Channel 76
  • Cartoon Network • Expanded Service Channel 77

 

*Customers will need a digital converter to view these channels.
